i just received and watched a copy of hip hop monologues: inside the life and mind of jim jones. that’s right jim jones. if you hadn’t heard about a month ago jim jones, dipset capo, jimmy himself stars in his own play with music from his new album set as the backdrop. creative? yes. successful? nope! as a man who enjoys theater i must say the acting was a mess. even some of the rapping had me all confused. highlight for me was a group rendition of “this is for my bitches”
theatrical genius?
